“GO FOR VOTE - USE NO VOTE”
Mumbai city was recently attacked in the most gruesome way we have ever seen. Everybody is talking about ‘spirit of Mumbai’ and that ‘Mumbai will bounce back to normal’. But isn’t that ignoring the problem and moving on. Even if we try to forget all and try to move on , these terrorists won’t let us to. Every single attack is like a question on our face, “we will keep on terrorizing you, what can you do ?”.
There were attacks all over the country be it Mumbai or Delhi or Jaipur or Guwahati. The list is long, but the question is how long we want it to be.
Earlier they attacked places having common middle class people, but on 26/11 they attacked places with high profile people, making all classes equally vulnerable.
On the other hand, the political parties are proving to be an equal danger to us. Be it current government giving statements like
“ Terrorists wanted to kill 5000 people, at least we reduced that count”,
or the opposition party who is taking the cruel advantage of terrified people and asking us to choose them in upcoming elections . Some parties are even biasing dead people on the basis of region, forgetting the fact that the NSG or MARCOS who fought the terrorists were not mumbaikars but they fought and died as INDIANS.
This is not the first time we are facing such a problem. The real problem is, we never learnt from our mistakes, and that includes common people like you and me.
The time has come to show our anger in right manner. Use your power of vote, because its us who choose people governing us.
SOLUTION:
So one solution is to follow our duty of casting vote to choose who we want as our government. Go to the voting booth and vote , but If you think, none of the candidate or current parties or opposition is worth taking the control of OUR GOVERNMENT, please use the option of
‘NO-VOTE’. Using ‘NO-VOTE’ option will not continue the same government but this option will force election committee to rethink about the political scene. This is the only chance we have. If we don’t react now, we will be repeating our mistakes, and for next 5 years, we will think what if I had done the right thing of not choosing this government.
So wake up people, time has come to use our power and to say enough is enough. Take the responsibility of being a dutiful citizen and vote.
My special request is towards college students and professionals. We are the youth who can change the way our country and our life shapes up. Make this point of NO-VOTE understood to as many people as you can in your working area. Remember we CAN bring in change and we will.

Its true that Mumbai has faced the worst attack so far making people realise that no one is safe be it a local groccery store or a shoppin mall , a multiplex, local dhaba or a five star hotel...we've got to be careful everywhere.
But Manu... selecting the option of "NO VOTE" is being neutral which is even more dangerous. We can not behave as neutral atleast at this point of time when our country needs very powerful and strong leadership...not biased by vote lobby..but biased by the urge or will to make our country so strong that no terrorist might think of doing what they've been doing to us this year.
Youths should be encouraged not to fall into the lap of party leaders to enter into politics or to fight at college level for their politics but form their own group....so strong that leaders may be compelled to change the way they think.
So i think its the time to REACT and ACT instead of being neutral....
and this can start only at college level....where max youths are, who want to bring changes for good.
wow , i never thought that way !!
i totally agree with ruchi, if we dont vote then u will also lose the right to ask for answers from the govt. as u did not take part in there election. it is always we should perform are duties to fullest and only then we can ask for are RIGHTS.
sir, using NO VOTE option doesnot mean u r not going to vote. here u do go for voting n u choose NO VOTE optn as it means u thinkk tht no current party or candidate is worth ur trust.
